Chris Hackett Says 'One Year Since Election And Nothing To Show For It'

Carney and the Democrats lack of accomplishment
Dallas -- Last year, Democrat Chris Carney campaigned on the promise to "Take our values to Washington, not bring Washington's value home." However, one year later, all Chris Carney and the Democrats in Congress have to show for it is a number broken promises and a laundry list of failed agenda items.
"One year ago the voters of Pennsylvania's 10th Congressional District placed their trust in Chris Carney and he has failed to deliver. The Democrats are rewarding themselves for this lack of accomplishment with a shortened work week . This, coupled with Carney's growing list of broken campaign promises, has left the voters of Pennsylvania exasperated," said Chris Hackett.
By failing to keep a single promise that the Democrats made to the American people on the campaign trail, Chris Carney and the Democrats have forfeited the mantle of change.
"In just one short year, Chris Carney has become the problem in Washington instead of the solution. It's time for a change and I'm prepared to go to Washington and put my experience to work solving problems for the people of the 10th Congressional District," Hackett concluded.

Chris Carney failed to live up to the promised "most ethical Congress in history" by supporting not just one but two Members of Congress under federal investigation to powerful House committees - John Murtha (D-PA) and William Jefferson (D-LA);
