Dallas, PA – Today, the Chris Hackett for Congress campaign filed its quarterly financial reporter with the Federal Election Commission covering the period from April through June, 2008.  During this period, the campaign raised $617,700.  A considerable portion of that was spent in the final weeks of the successful primary election on April 22nd.  Nonetheless, the campaign retains a strong $267,000 cash on hand position heading into the summer.

This quarter, Hackett received endorsement from leading pro-jobs and pro-business organizations such as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and that has helped fuel his fundraising efforts.  Hackett commented, “My wife Ramah and I are grateful to have the strong support of so may business leaders and grassroots activists from across this district and throughout Pennsylvania. The continued support of voters in the 10th Congressional District proves that they are ready for a Congressman that will end wasteful government spending, work to create jobs and represent the conservative values of this region.”
