Dallas, PA – Today, Chris Carney tried to cover up his record of voting for the largest tax increase in history by introducing a bill to lower the corporate tax rate. Conveniently, the bill was introduced three months before an election after Carney had amassed a steady pro-tax hike record.

• Chris Carney voted to increase business taxes $7.5 billion dollars (Roll Call 746)
• Chris Carney voted for a $2 billion tax increase on home sales (Roll Call 947)
• Chris Carney voted to keep the death tax (Roll Call 959)
• Chris Carney voted to keep the marriage penalty (Roll Call 83)

Chris Hackett released a pro-corporate tax cut position on June 3^rd in his statement of principles.
